The elegant ambience for an unforgettable event
For more than four decades, this versatile pianist and composer has been best known for the heartfelt quiet ambiance of his economical solo piano style, and his fresh harmonic approach and stylistic synthesis as a jazz improviser and composer.
Moving to the Monterey Peninsula in 1998, Tom has worked primarily as a solo pianist at many of the finest resorts in the area. He became known as one of the house pianists at Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch, playing three to four nights weekly from 2012 to 2019, until he needed to resign due to family medical issues.
Tom is returning now to active status playing solo piano at the Monterey Plaza Hotel, the Asilomar Conference Center, and many other venues up and down the California coast from Santa Barbara to Marin.
He also records new music and performs with his Free Parking Jazz Composers' Ensemble wherever a five to seven member original jazz group can be featured.
